It feels like 2 years have gone by in a blink of an eye, yet the amount we have grown, evolved and experienced as a community has felt like a lifetime. These last few months, in particular, have opened us up to parts of ourselves that were unknown, made us dig a little deeper, and count our blessings more than ever. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would have to close the studio for 4+ months for a global pandemic, while simultaneously leaning into a social awakening that has been long overdue. We’ve been called to rise to the occasion to make this world a healthier, safer and more just place for everyone. I have many times found myself to be overwhelmed, ungrounded and uncomfortable during this time, but I can’t help but feel we are on the brink of beautiful change.
If it were any other point in time, we would be celebrating our 2 Year Anniversary with a community hike and champagne toast, unfortunately this year will look a little different. Hopefully, we can celebrate in real life soon!
